After being a huge fan when Chuck was managing, this location has deteriorated terribly. Tried it off and on for several years, and sometimes having decent food and service, to terrible, burned pancakes and lazy, inattentive wait staff, the last time my sister and I were there, we walked out without paying after talking to the "manager," a 20 year old woman who had no experience in management, and was returning to college less than two months after being hired, a fact that was known when she was hired. It's too bad, it's a convenient location, family friendly, and a known name. It should be full all the time.
Love the food at this location! Wish it was open 24hrs great customer service and i get a smile and great attitude from the minute I walk in.
Not pleased with this Perkins location. Seated quickly, but noticed eight or nine dirty tables waiting to be cleared. For 7 p.m. on a weeknight it was quiet otherwise. Servers rolling silverware, ignoring the messy tables. Waited 15-20 minutes for our drinks, extremely hungry - but patient for another 10 minutes before our waitress came back for the food order. Then the real wait began, 45 minutes later and we finally received our food. Not once asked for a refill during the wait. Food finally arrives from another server, setting down the plates without a word and walking away. We love to eat out and enjoy Perkins frequently, but will stay away from this one in Buffalo from now on. Too many other great places to eat in Buffalo anyway - do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere.
I would've given a zero if it were an option. Waited 10 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes to get our beverage order placed, where we also placed our food order at the same time, and waited about 15 minutes to get our drinks and another 30 for food. Ridiculous..... yes, we could've left, but , we arrived at 10:20pm nothing else was open. We were lucky to be served before they closed at midnight. Filthy tables, uncleaned tables in the section they were not seating in anymore. Super slow service and to tip it off......... HAIR IN MY FOOD!!!!! DISGUSTING ........
Our server, Robert, had great customer service! For being a 17 who is post secondary and still in high school, we were glad he was our server. We watched him work politely with an older couple who asked many questions and were confused with their bill. He was patient with them and answered their questions with care. He took our order and got our drinks quickly. There was a problem with the printer and our food took a while but Robert offered us a cookie or something while we waited. In the end, the food was great and the customer service was even better.
